MACAU (China) - The seedings and pools are confirmed for the FIBA 3x3 World Tour Macau 2026, with 16 teams set to compete for the title on October 17-18.

World No. 1 and top seed Ub (SRB) headline the field. They are aiming for their third WT Macau banner. The Serbians are followed by Amsterdam RABOBANK (NED), who ware fresh from winning the recent FIBA 3x3 World Tour Bucharest 2026. Miami (USA), Baskets Bonn (GER) and Skyliners (GER) complete the top five, setting up a competitive field featuring established World Tour contenders and teams looking to make their mark in Macau.

Ub and Amsterdam will enter as the top two seeds, both looking to continue their strong World Tour campaign. Miami and the two German sides will also be among the teams to watch, with Ulaanbaatar MMC Energy (MGL), Shanghai (CHN) and Vienna (AUT) rounding out the top eight seeds.

Host team Cotai WOLFUNITED (MAC) will feature in the Main Draw, while Hong Kong (HKG) will also compete directly in the pool stage. The remaining six teams will battle through two Qualifying Draws, with the winners advancing to the Main Draw and completing the four pools.

    Ub headline Pool A

Pool A features top seed Ub alongside eighth seed Vienna and host team Cotai WOLFUNITED. Ub arrives as one of the leading contenders for the Macau title. Vienna will look to challenge the Serbian side for their first World Tour win of the year. Meanwhile, Cotai will have the opportunity to make the most of home-court advantage against two established opponents. Cotai qualified by placing second in the recent Hongcheon Challenger 2026, and they cannot be overlooked.

    Amsterdam RABOBANK lead Pool B

Pool B sees second seed Amsterdam RABOBANK matched with seventh seed Shanghai and Hong Kong. Amsterdam arrive with heightened confidence after their second World Tour win of the season in Bucharest. They will be looking for another strong run in Macau, but Shanghai will provide a competitive challenge as the seventh seed. Hong Kong complete the group and will aim to take advantage of the opportunity to compete against two of the field's highest-ranked teams.

    Miami headline Pool C

Third seed Miami headline Pool C alongside sixth seed Ulaanbaatar MMC Energy and the winner of Qualifying Draw A. Miami will enter as one of the leading contenders in the group, but Ulaanbaatar bring plenty of experience on the World Tour circuit. The qualifying winner will also have a chance to upset the established order and secure a place in the next round.

Qualifying Draw A features DeQing (CHN), Warsaw (POL) and Colosseum (ITA). All three teams will be looking to secure the final spot in Pool C and earn the opportunity to test themselves against Miami and Ulaanbaatar.

Germans face off in Pool D

Pool D features fourth seed Baskets Bonn, fifth seed Skyliners and the winner of Qualifying Draw B. The German sides will go head-to-head in a group that promises a compelling matchup between two of the tournament's most athletic teams. Baskets Bonn will look to justify their position among the top four, looking for their fourth World Tour win of the year. Meanwhile, Skyliners will be eager to make a statement against their fellow German contenders. They are aiming for their first World Tour win this season.

The winner of Qualifying Draw B will have a difficult task ahead, with a place in the next round requiring them to navigate a group featuring two top-five seeds. Qualifying Draw B brings together Taipei WanBao (TPE), Bordeaux (FRA) and Doha (QAT). Only the winner will advance to Pool D, earning a place in the Main Draw and a shot at two of the competition's leading contenders.

With the seedings and pools now confirmed, attention turns to Macau, where the qualifying teams will fight for their place in the Main Draw and the leading seeds will begin their pursuit of the title. The draw offers several intriguing matchups, with Ub leading the field and Miami, Amsterdam RABOBANK and Baskets Bonn among the teams looking to make a deep run right in the heart of one of China's most vibrant tourism and entertainment hubs.
