DEBRECEN (Hungary) – The stage is set for another high-level stop on the FIBA 3x3 World Tour 2026, with the seedings and pools confirmed for FIBA 3x3 World Tour Debrecen 2026 on August 29-30.
World No. 1 and top seed Ub (SRB) headline a 16-team field that features some of the biggest names on the World Tour, with Miami (USA), Liman (SRB) and Amsterdam RABOBANK (NED) also among the top four seeds.
Ub will enter Debrecen looking to continue their strong 2026 campaign, while Miami arrive as the No. 2 seed after earning their place at the event by winning the FISE Birmingham Challenger. Liman, meanwhile, secured their Debrecen ticket by winning the inaugural Uenohara Challenger, while Amsterdam RABOBANK remain one of the most experienced teams on the circuit.
Raudondvaris Hoptrans (LTU), Ulaanbaatar MMC Energy (MGL), Baskets Bonn (GER) and Shanghai (CHN) complete the top eight, ensuring that the field is packed with proven World Tour contenders from the opening game.
The draw has also produced four intriguing pools, with plenty of firepower spread across the groups.
Pool A features top seed Ub alongside upstarts Cibona Ph.Classic (CRO) and Élancourt (FRA). The Serbian powerhouse will be the team to beat on paper, but both Cibona and Élancourt have already shown they can cause problems against the world's best.
Pool B sees Miami take on confident Toulouse (FRA) and hometown side Debrecen (HUN). Miami will arrive as one of the favorites following their Birmingham Challenger triumph, while Toulouse enter with plenty of momentum after impressive results in their last three Challenger stops (Uenohara, Singapore, Bordeaux). For their part, Debrecen will lean on home support.
Pool C could deliver plenty of fireworks, with third seed Liman joined by Ulaanbaatar MMC Energy and the winner of Qualifying Draw A. Note that these two teams met at the Final of WT Ulaanbaatar 2026, which the Serbians won. The Mongolians will look for a measure of payback here. Of course, the qualifying side could add another dangerous challenger to the mix.
Meanwhile, fourth seed Amsterdam RABOBANK headline Pool D alongside Raudondvaris Hoptrans and the winner of Qualifying Draw B. With two established World Tour contenders already locked in, the final spot in the group could prove crucial.
As for the Qualifying Draws, they will determine the last two teams to join the Main Draw. This is a particularly deep set of Qualifying Draw teams who will clash early at the Kossuth Square.
Baskets Bonn, which have won two WT stops this year, will compete in Qualifying Draw A with Barcelona (ESP) and Kaunas VDU (LTU). Meanwhile, Shanghai (CHN), Hangzhou Jingwei (CHN) and Liberec DEKSTONE (CZE) will battle for the top spot in Qualifying Draw B.
With the pools now set, all that remains is for the action to begin in Debrecen, where the 16-team field will compete for the title and valuable Race to the Final points.
