SINGAPORE - Twenty-four men’s and twenty-two women’s teams will compete to be crowned champions at the FIBA 3x3 Asia Cup 2026, with seedings now confirmed ahead of the tournament in Singapore from April 1–5.
Top basketball stars from across Asia and Oceania will light up the Lion City once again as the Asia Cup returns for the fifth consecutive year, continuing Singapore’s run as one of the sport’s most established continental hosts.
The tournament will once again be staged at the iconic Singapore Sports Hub, the country’s premier destination for world-class sports, entertainment, lifestyle and community events. Having previously hosted major international football matches and tennis tournaments, the venue has firmly established 3x3 basketball as a highlight on Singapore’s sporting calendar.
Fans can now view the full men’s and women’s seedings, which set the stage for five days of fast-paced action and national pride.
MEN SEEDINGS:
In the men’s competition, Australia enter the tournament as the most decorated nation, having claimed five Asia Cup titles, including last year’s crown as they chase a third consecutive championship. Mongolia, two-time champions, last lifted the trophy in 2023, while Qatar remain a former champion after their historic triumph at the inaugural edition in 2013. China, Japan, New Zealand and hosts Singapore are aiming to turn heads at the competition as well.

On the women’s side, Australia have also dominated the competition, winning five Asia Cup titles and arriving in Singapore as the defending champions aiming for a fourth straight crown. New Zealand, China and India have each captured the women’s title once, with China’s victory in 2022 marking the most recent occasion a non-Australian team claimed gold. The mighty Mongolians are also a team to watch, along with Japan, Philippines, Thailand and hosts Singapore.
