    BRISBANE (2012 London Olympics) – Former Poland center Margo Dydek is in a medically-induced coma in hospital after suffering a heart attack.

    The 2.18m Dydek, who is married and 37 years old, collapsed on Thursday morning while at home in Brisbane.

    She is pregnant with her third child.

    Dydek, according to the Brisbane Courier Mail, has lived in the city since 2009.

    She moved to Australia and settled in Brisbane when her British husband got a job there.

    While there, Dydek has worked as a coach with the Northside Wizards of the Queensland Basketball League.

    Dydek was once the most intimidating defensive presence in the game.

    Having played at the 2000 Olympics in Sydney, she still ranks first overall in WNBA history with an average of 2.72 blocks per game.

    In 323 WNBA games with the Utah Starzz, San Antonio Silver Stars, Connecticut Sun and Los Angeles Sparks (her last WNBA team in 2008) - Dydek had 877 blocks.
