Plenty of experienced players for Chinese Taipei heading to Changsha

TAIPEI CITY (2015 FIBA Asia Championship) - Chinese Taipei will have half of their roster from the 2013 FIBA Asia Championship when they run onto the court on 23 September in Changsha, China, to play at this year's edition of the event.
Coach Chun-San Chou has included Quincy Davis III, Shih-Chieh Chen, Cheng-Ju Lu, Wen-Cheng Tsai, Chih-Shan Hung and Chih-Chieh Lin - members of the squad that finished fourth in the Philippines - in this year's event.
Two years ago, big man Davis III led the team by averaging 14.7 points and 9.0 rebounds per game and had 26 and 10 in the country's famous 96-78 Quarter-Final triumph over China.
Everyone in the Chinese Taipei squad remembers the win over China as a defining moment for basketball in the country.
"After beating China, it was a relief to finally overcome a challenge that kept us from be recognized as a legit team," Davis said to FIBA.com.
The 32-year-old had a lot of big games in Manila.

But Chinese Taipei have other weapons, too.
One of them was Lin, a 1.92m forward.
He averaged 10.7 points, 4.9 assists and 3.8 rebounds.
The team that wins the FIBA Asia Championship will clinch a spot in the Rio de Janeiro Olympics while the sides that come in second, third and fourth will earn invites to the FIBA Olympic Qualifying Tournaments (OQTs).
Chinese Taipei will play in Group D with Lebanon, Qatar and Kazakhstan.
