Players to watch at FIBA 3x3 World Tour Edmonton 2024
EDMONTON (Canada) - Some of the best players on the planet are pumped up and raring to go as the FIBA 3x3 World Tour 2024 goes into overdrive at the World Tour Edmonton on July 6-7.
EDMONTON (Canada) - Some of the best players on the planet are pumped up and raring to go as the FIBA 3x3 World Tour 2024 goes into overdrive at the World Tour Edmonton on July 6-7.
Here are the players you just have to watch.
Jimmer Fredette (Miami)
Who's the best player in Edmonton? It has to be this bad dude known as Himmer Fredette, who has been collecting MVPs all season long.
He added to his trophy cabinet when he won top honors at the Quebec Challenger, where he poured in 46 points and had a player-value of 56.2
The former NBA player will soon live out a childhood dream and represent mighty Team USA at the Olympics.
But before then he will be laser focused in his bid to lead Miami to another dub.

Dennis Donkor (Riffa)
Riffa (BRN) are one of the most highly rated teams in the business, but have nothing to show for it so far in 2024.
No one will be more annoyed than Dennis Donkor, who always leaves it all on the half-court. He will play relentless lockdown D, but Dennis the Menace also knows how to pour in buckets.
Donkor is averaging 7 ppg on the World Tour and has been unstoppable when driving to the basket. But Donkor isn't satisfied, so expect him to go on an absolute tear in Edmonton.

Stefan Milivojevic (Partizan)
This muscular Serb is the barometer for Partizan (SRB), who have been strong on the pro circuit but they've been booted out on Day One in both of their stops on the World Tour this season.
Milivojevic hasn't quite gotten going on the World Tour, averaging 4.8 ppg so far.
But we're expecting an explosion from the dude they call 'The Gladiator' and with good reason because he can play bully ball when he's in the mood.
The 27-year-old Milivojevic is also cold-blooded in the clutch, as he has already shown on the pro circuit this season.

Westher Molteni (Lausanne)
This big fella has been the heart and soul for Lausanne (SUI) for many years, but Westher Molteni is at the peak of his powers right now.
He has arguably been the best big man on the World Tour having inspired Lausanne to two straight runner-up finishes.
Molteni was a tour de force in Chengdu, where he finished No.1 in player-value (57) and points (29).
It was one of the most inspirational performances seen in a long time as Molteni almost led a three-man Lausanne to their first-ever title on the World Tour.
Having overcome that heartbreak, you just know 'King Wes' is ready to grab the crown and finally celebrate glory on the World Tour.

Antonio Ralat (San Juan Church's)
This Puerto Rican sniper returns to Edmonton, where he led San Juan to a runner-up finish 12 months ago.
Ralat back then was enjoying a breakout, but now he's a certified superstar having continually called game with Maurice Lacroix Buzzer Beaters.
If there is a heatwave in Edmonton it's because 27-year-old is on flames from beyond the arc.

Ning Zhang (Beijing)
This Chinese superstar was a wrecking ball in Chengdu as he tallied a tournament leading 34 points to lead Beijing (CHN) to the semis.
The 27-year-old is fast becoming a hero in hoops-crazy China due to his electric style of play, where he loves nothing more than putting defenders on posters.
He gets the crowd on their feet and can conjure major upsets like when Beijing beat No.1 Ub Huishan NE (SRB) in Chengdu.
If Ning Zhang is feeling it then Beijing has a chance of going all the way on the World Tour for the first time.
