BEIRUT (Lebanon) - The FIBA Regional Office-Asia successfully organized a photography workshop in Iraq just before the month of April came into a close.
A total of 12 participants, including the photographers of the Iraqi Basketball League member clubs, took part in the program held last April 27-29 in Baghdad, made possible in cooperation with the Iraqi Basketball Association (IBA).
"The workshop was excellent and highly beneficial," said Haider Abdul Jalil Al-Dulaimi, one of the attendees. "The instructor demonstrated exceptional proficiency in delivering the content, which provided me with a truly valuable perspective on photography from all artistic dimensions."

The participants were eagerly engaged with the sessions, and also took the opportunity to gain knowledge, share experiences, and network with others in the same field of profession.
All photographers were then provided the opportunity to shoot a basketball game to apply the information they had received from the previous day.
"The workshop was truly exceptional and unparalleled," said another participant in Mahdi Salah El Radi. "Iwould like to thank the FIBA Regional Office Asia and the Iraqi Basketball Federation for inviting us. I’m looking forward to attending similar workshops in the future."
These workshops are further proof of the commitment to support the photographers and upgrade the quality of basketball photography and the level of media coverage in the region.
