    PHI - Philippines, Indonesia, Malaysia and Vietnam to vie for SEABA Champions Cup 2007

    MANILA (Southeast Asia Basketball Association Champions Cup) - Asian basketball powerhouse the Philippines, Vietnam, Malaysia and host Indonesia will set to compete in the coming 2007 SEABA Champions Cup which starts on April 10, 2007 in Jakarta

    MANILA (Southeast Asia Basketball Association Champions Cup) - Asian basketball powerhouse the Philippines, Vietnam, Malaysia and host Indonesia will set to compete in the coming 2007 SEABA Champions Cup which starts on April 10, 2007 in Jakarta.

    Philippines, which is represented by Harbour team from the Philippine Basketball League will be bannered by amateur standouts such as Al Magpayo, Chico Llanete, Jason Castro, JC Intal, Jojo Duncil, Marvin Cruz, Jeffrey Chan and Co. along with Ex-NBA Julius Nwosu and Vidal Massiah as imports.

    Philippines will first battle the dangerous Malaysia on the first day of the competition followed by the host nation against the rising basketball nation Vietnam.

    The finals will be held on April 14 between the top two teams that will emerge after the elimination round.

    The tournament will serves as a qualifier for the coming 2007 FIBA-Asia Champions Cup.
