PHI - FIBA expresses solidarity with Philippines’ typhoon victims

MIES - The entire globe is shocked by the calamity caused by typhoon Haiyan, which left widespread devastation in the Philippines in recent days.

FIBA’s thoughts and prayers are with the victims and the people impacted by the typhoon.

The International Basketball Federation is deeply saddened by this tragedy and expresses its condolences to the entire basketball-loving country and to the Samahang Basketbol NG Pilipinas.

To help the recovery and rescue operations, FIBA extended a donation in favour of the victims and encourages private donations to the Red Cross to sustain the relief efforts.
