    Jake Van Tubbergen wins December's MVP honor

    Van Tubbergen was superb for Peristeri Betsson as they started the Second Round strongly.

    MUNICH (Germany) - Peristeri Betsson forward Jake Van Tubbergen has scooped FIBA Europe Cup MVP honors for December with stellar performances throughout the month.

    Posting two double-doubles in December, Van Tubbergen averaged 23.0 points, 11.5 rebounds and 2.5 steals, shooting 78.2 percent from the field and a combined 9-for-10 from the free throw line in his side's opening two games in the Second Round.

    His energy, dominance close to the basket, and defensive presence have lifted Peristeri to a 2-0 record in Group N and placed them in a good position to advance to the Play-Offs.

    Atic the hero for Bosna; eight teams improve to 2-0

    The American had 19 points, 11 rebounds, 2 assists and 3 steals in Peristeri's impressive 92-80 road success against Casademont Zaragoza; going 7-of-9 from the floor.

    Van Tubbergen followed that with a brilliant showing against Dinamo BDS Sassari, where he had 27 points, 12 rebounds and 2 steals in a deserved 98-84 win.
