LJUBLJANA (Slovenia) - Mark Padjen was named Most Valuable Player at the FIBA U20 EuroBasket 2026 after guiding hosts Slovenia to the title for the first time in 22 years.
Padjen collected 14 points and 6 assists in Slovenia's 84-65 win over Serbia in the Final. The guard played excellent all tournament and showed why he has already debuted with the country's senior national team, including getting into two games at the FIBA EuroBasket 2025.
Padjen stepped up in the Semi-Finals when star Urban Kroflic went down an injury in the first quarter and collected 25 points, 4 rebounds and 6 assists in the victory over France.
He headlines the All-Star Five with his teammate Urban Kroflic, Serbia's Nikola Dzepina, Raul Villar of Spain and France's Mohamed Diakite.
