Sarah Michel
Even though Michel's numbers weren't that impressive in the opening quarter of France's 70-52 win over New Zealand, she came up strong in the third quarter, in which she led the hosts with 10 points. The 1.80m forward finished with 13 points, 5 rebounds and 3 assists off the bench.
Celine Dumerc
Dumerc set the tone with two three-pointers early in the contest that gave Les Bleues an 8-5 lead. While the 33-year-old only had five more points the rest of the way, it was her game-high 8 assists that made a significant difference in a very competitive game.
Kang Ajeong
Kang was on fire in Korea's heartbreaking 70-69 defeat to Nigeria on Tuesday. The 26-year-old forward hit 6-of-9 three-point attempts and also added 3 assists in 33 minutes. With Nigeria defying the odds, there was nothing else Kang could do.
Isabelle Yacoubou
Yacoubou had game-highs of 19 points and 11 rebounds off the bench to propel the tournament hosts into the Quarter-Finals with their defeat of the Tall Ferns.
Lara Sanders
As Turkey opened their Group B campaign with a 66-38 success against Argentina on Tuesday, Sanders did a bit of everything. The 1.91m center scored Turkey's first 12 points, which allowed her team to build a comfortable 18-4 first quarter lead, and finished with game-highs of 18 points and 15 rebounds to go with 3 blocked shots.
