    Leading sports figures on hand to witness USA women's sixth gold in a row

    RIO DE JANEIRO (Rio 2016 Olympic Games) - It was a veritable who's who of sports - and in particular basketball - personalities that were on hand to watch Saturday's Women's Olympic Gold Medal Game.

    RIO DE JANEIRO (Rio 2016 Olympic Games) - It was a veritable who's who of sports - and in particular basketball - personalities that were on hand to watch Saturday's Women's Olympic Gold Medal Game.

    FIBA President Horacio Muratore and FIBA Secretary General Patrick Baumann had the honour of playing host to International Olympic Committee (IOC) President Thomas Bach, Brazilian basketball legends Janeth Arcain and Maria Paula Silva - also known as "Magic Paula".

    Joining them were NBA Commissioner Adam Silver, NBA Deputy Commissioner and FIBA Executive Board member Mark Tatum and NBA Senior Vice President of International Basketball Operations Kim Bohuny.

    Kim Bohuny, Adam Silver, Horacio Muratore, Jerry Colangelo, Mark Tatum and Jim Tooley 

    USA Basketball's Managing Director Jerry Colangelo and CEO/Executive Director Jim Tooley were on hand to witness the women win the gold medal for a sixth consecutive time.

    Also present were members of FIBA's Central Board.
