    Serbia v Australia

A battle of Day 1 victors starts things off in Group A on Monday when FIBA Olympic Qualifying Tournament (OQT) winners Serbia takes on FIBA Oceania champions Australia. Serbia may have their hands full against an impressive Boomers frontline that got excellent performances from Aron Baynes and Andrew Bogut, but the Aussies will also have to prove they can hold up against a Serbian side that dominated in all aspects of their triumph over Venezuela.

    USA v Venezuela

The USA blew away Venezuela in their preparations in Chicago and will now look to do so again in Rio de Janeiro. They began with a beat down of China while the South Americans fell in their opener to Serbia.

    France v China

The big disappointments of the opening day, Manila OQT winners France, look to bounce back against a China team that drew praise from the Americans after their game on Saturday. If the Chinese are able to get off to a fast start, hold on to your seats.
