    Spain v Brazil

There will be a sense of urgency for both teams in this clash since both lost openers on Sunday. Starting 0-2 in what is expected to be a very tight Group B will leave one of these teams in big trouble.

    Lithuania v Nigeria

Lithuania will be hoping to look more like the team that scored 58 points in the first half of their win over Brazil rather than the side that held on for dear life in the second half. Nigeria, beaten like a drum by Argentina in their opener, need a good start to inject some life into their Olympic campaign. They may want to think back to 2012 when, at the FIBA Olympic Qualifying Tournament, the D'Tigers beat Lithuania. The Baltic side got revenge a few weeks later when they won the Preliminary Round encounter between the two teams at the London Games.

    Argentina v Croatia

Croatia's players have already won a FIBA Olympic Qualifying Tournament this summer, beating Greece and hosts Italy along the way. Now they have a victory over Spain, the No. 2 in the FIBA World Ranking Men, under their belts at the Rio Games. Up next is a game against world No. 4 Argentina, a familiar opponent as the sides met in a recently friendly in Cordoba. Sergio Hernandez's team won that game, and they rolled to victory over Nigeria in their Group B opener, too.
