RIO DE JANEIRO (Rio 2016 Olympic Games) - Spain may have prepared for a tough game against Lithuania on Saturday but they sure didn't get one.

Instead of having to sweat out a nervous 40 minutes as they had in their previous three encounters - two of them losses - Pau Gasol and Co cruised to a 109-59 victory.

Turning Point: The start of the game. Spain raced into a 10-2 lead and quickly had a vice-like grip on proceedings.

Stats Don't Lie: The only stat that mattered in this one was the final score. Spain were superior in all categories. Maybe the most interesting stat, however, was the 3-of-4 effort from long range by Ricky Rubio.

Hero: Felipe Reyes. He came off the bench and dominated the offensive glass early on to set the tone for a resounding win and finished with 11 points and 9 rebounds.

Bottom Line: This game meant a lot more to Spain than it did to Lithuania, who had already sealed a place in the Quarter-Finals. At 2-2, Spain will now take on Argentina looking to get a better place in the standings. Most important of all is that Spain appear to have their swag back. It's starting to look a lot like 2009, when they had a difficult start to EuroBasket 2009 but turned things around in time to win the title.
