RIO DE JANEIRO (Rio 2016 Olympic Games) - Dario Saric is already assured of a prominent place in Croatian basketball lore after claiming the Most Valuable Player honor at the 2016 FIBA Olympic Qualifying Tournament in Turin last month.

With one play on Sunday, though, a block of a Pau Gasol shot at the buzzer that preserved Croatia's 72-70 upset win on Day 2 of the Rio de Janeiro Games, Saric came up with the most important play of his young but already hugely impressive career.

    ...

Most important for Saric is that his team won the game and will now have a great chance of advancing to the Quarter-Finals.

Their next game will be against Argentina on Tuesday.
