ANTANANARIVO (FIBA Africa Championship for Women) - Nigeria took her second Group-B game beyond the reach of Rwanda in Day-2 of the FIBA Africa Championship for Women in Antananarivo, Madagascar Saturday with an emphatic 79-49 point’s victory.
The Nigeria women team coached by the trio of Coaches Ayo Bakare, Scott Nnaji and Andrew Isokpehi out play the Rwandans in all department of the game winning in all four quarters by 24-12, 18-16, 19-08 and 18-13.
The Nigeria who lost her group opening game to defending champion, mali on Friday displayed superior fire power with forward, Charity Egenti leading the Nigeria challenge with a double double of 22 points and 20 rebounds.
