LAGOS (Premier League) - It is quite difficult to believe that Ebun Comets have won just one game out of three so far played this season. But still the poor statistics has not taken away the bite from the several years national champions. On Saturday they will play as the home team against Dodan Warriors in one of the star games of the weekend.

Last weekend the Savannah Conference offered the best match up of the week but for this weekend the real action is in the Atlantic Conference where in Lagos where Union Bank will also host Lagos Islanders on Sunday. Both matches are at the National Stadium.

In the Savannah area the Customs will provide the battle over there as they face Kano Pillars and AHIP today and tomorrow respectively to round off their Road Trip games.

Comets beat Customs in the opening match of the season but lost surprisingly to AHIP Giants in the next game and then lost a thriller to eternal rivals Islanders. But today against Warriors they dream to break the losing streak. But it is a tough one to call. The game is certainly an open one.

On paper Union Bank have the edge over the Islanders but still in a situation where the margin of difference is very thin, coaching and attitude of the players determine winners. Both teams have not lost any game this term but one team has to drop this afternoon. This match is also a close one to call. And what is common to both games is that they offer the best in the Nigerian league.
