A preview of the FIBA 3x3 Women's Series Debrecen Stop.

DEBRECEN (Hungary) - Before the big prize of the Shanghai Final, the regular season finishes with a bang in Debrecen as desperate teams jostle to make the showpiece event on the FIBA 3x3 Women's Series 2025.

Let's preview all the action of the 14th stop this season.

    The Favorites

We just have to start with No.1 seed Netherlands, who will be out to finish a memorable regular season on a high. But they experienced unusual disappointment on the half-court after falling short to Latvia in the final of Sabail.

The Dutchwomen want to cap an amazing season, where they sport a 25-4 record and they will rely in Debrecen on superstar Janis Boonstra with No.1 Noortje Driessen absent.

They might be on a collision course with fellow European power Spain, who have won two titles from four Stops this season. They've got their trusted stars, including legendary Sandra Ygueravide, in the line-up to underline the importance of this event.

CS Rapid Bucharest (ROU) and Ulaanbaatar Amazons (MGL) both have not reached a final this season, but they've been ultra consistent and look set for deep runs once again. The Field

Outside of the favorites, Czechia loom as perhaps the likeliest to make a deep run having made the final in Marseille. Their chances will rest on Katerina Galickova being lights out, especially against Spain in a Pool D blockbuster.

Germany have a New Gen ready to take the torch from their Olympic champ predecessors, with scoring machine Laura Zolper set to be her country's next big star.

The last time we saw Austria they went on a giant-killing run to reach the final in Bordeaux. Alexia Allesch has proven to be a big game performer as she will show amid the big stakes in Debrecen.

Madrid (ESP) and former World Cup champs Italy are the favorites to emerge from the QD and if they do that then they could wreak havoc in the main draw.
