AMSTERDAM (Netherlands) - The FIBA 3x3 Women’s Series 2026 heads to Amsterdam on June 19-21, with 12 teams set to compete in one of the season’s most anticipated stops.
Home side Netherlands (NED) enter the tournament as the top seed and will be eager to book their first FIBA 3x3 Women's Series stop win of the year. Delivering it in front of their fans would be a major bonus. Despite not winning a FIBA 3x3 Women's Series stop yet, the Dutch squad remain among the leading teams on the circuit and will look to use home-court advantage to finally have a breakthrough.
Second seed Rapid Bucharest (ROU) arrive as one of the most dangerous teams in the draw. The Romanian outfit has established itself as a regular contender on the FIBA 3x3 Women’s Series and will be targeting another deep run. Fellow Dutch side Netherlands U25 (NED) are seeded third and will have the opportunity to showcase the country’s next generation of 3x3 basketball talent.
Beijing (CHN) are seeded fourth after producing some encouraging performances this season, while Italy (ITA) complete the top five. Romania (ROU), Ireland (IRL) and Mitsubishi Electric (JPN) round out the top eight seeds and all possess the quality to challenge for a place in the knockout rounds.
Croatia (CRO), Portugal (POR), Belgium (BEL) and France U25 (FRA) complete the field, adding further depth to a highly competitive tournament that features a mix of experienced FIBA 3x3 Women’s Series contenders and emerging teams looking to make their mark. None of the teams in Amsterdam have won a FIBA 3x3 Women's Series stop yet, so we will certainly crown new winners this weekend.
The Amsterdam stop will take place at the iconic NDSM Wharf, one of the most recognizable urban 3x3 basketball venues on the circuit. Running alongside FIBA 3x3 World Tour Amsterdam 2026, the event promises three days of elite 3x3 basketball action as teams continue their pursuit of valuable FIBA 3x3 Women’s Series points and a place among the season’s leading contenders.
