MANAGUA (ACB) - Pumas have been crowned Nicaraguan ACB champions after winning the decisive seventh game against Tiburones in the league's ninth edition.

Jasser Jimenez, with 23 points, led Pumas to the triumph and the trophy, accompanied by the 14-point contribution of Carlos Gonzalez and the 13 netted by Edwin Waters.
Tiburones had the consolation of having the match's top scorer in Pedro Salazar, who recorded 29 points on Wednesday night.
Pumas raced into a 2-0 lead in the finals by winning the two opening matches 86-85 (also after overtime) and 83-77.
Tiburones closed the gap by claiming a triumph in Game Three, 88-78, but Pumas re-opened their two-match cushion by clinching the fourth encounter 76-64.
Tiburones fought back to level overall, winning the next two games 96-77 and 72-63.
But Pumas won the decisive seventh match to celebrate their second ACB title, while Tiburones left the stadium with their second silver medal in a row, after having won seven consecutive titles before that.
