    NEW YORK (NBA) - Despite a monster night from Tim Duncan, the Phoenix Suns handed the San Antonio Spurs their first home loss of the season, 100-95, on Monday night at the AT&T Center.

    Duncan nearly had a double-double in the first quarter alone, with 10 points and eight rebounds. He finished with 36 points and 17 rebounds. Grant Hill led the Suns with 22 points. Brazil's Leandro Barbosa and Team USA's Amare Stoudemire combined to score 14 points in the fourth quarter and finished with 18 and 17 points, respectively.

    Steve Nash was held scoreless in the first half on 0-for-3 shooting. His first field goal came with 8:34 left in the third quarter, and he finished with 10 points and 10 assists.

    Joe Johnson scored 13 of his team-high 26 points in the fourth quarter and Anthony Johnson added 17 and dished out 14 assists to lead the shorthanded Hawks to a 116-111 victory over the struggling Utah Jazz.

    Marvin Williams had 21 points, Josh Smith added 18 and rookie Al Horford recorded a season-high 17 for Atlanta, who snapped a nine-game losing streak against Utah.

    The Jazz wasted a magnificent performance from Carlos Boozer, who tallied a season-high 39 points and grabbed a team-high 12 rebounds.

    Mike Dunleavy scored 22 of his season-high 36 points in the third as the Indiana Pacers moved over the .500 mark with a 119-92 victory over the New York Knicks.

    Jermaine O'Neal added 22 points for Indiana (13-12), who are above .500 for the first time since it was 3-2 on November 9.

    Troy Murphy contributed 17 points and Jamaal Tinsley collected 12 assists for the Pacers, who shot 58% (49-of-84).

    Stephen Jackson had 28 points and 12 rebounds as the Golden State Warriors held off a late charge for a 125-117 win over the Memphis Grizzlies.

    Monta Ellis scored 23 points and Baron Davis collected 22 and eight assists for Golden State, which bounced back from an ugly loss at Detroit on the first stop on their five-game road swing.

    The Warriors led by as many as 18 points in the fourth quarter before Memphis came storming back thanks to a franchise-record eight three-pointers.

    Team USA captain LeBron James scored 31 points to help the Cleveland Cavaliers post a 104-99 double-overtime victory over the Milwaukee Bucks.

    Zydrunas Ilgauskas scored six points of his 24 points in the second extra session and Devin Brown nearly had a triple-double for Cleveland, who picked up just their second win in the last 10 games.

    Brandon Roy collected 24 points and eight assists as the red-hot Portland Trail Blazers pushed their winning streak to a season-high eight games with an 88-76 victory over the New Orleans Hornets.

    Named the Western Conference Player of the Week for the second time in a row, Roy connected on 10-of-17 shots, including 2-of-4 three-pointers, en route to his seventh 20-point outing this month.

    Dwyane Wade scored 30 points, 14 in the crucial fourth quarter, and had a key steal in the final minute as the Miami Heat defeated Minnesota 91-87 in the match-up of the league's two worst teams.

    Udonis Haslem had 18 points and Shaquille O'Neal added 15 as Miami (7-17) sent Minnesota (3-20) to their fifth straight loss.

    Finally, Dirk Nowitzki scored 11 of his 31 points in the fourth quarter and Jerry Stackhouse scored 21 off the bench as the Dallas Mavericks posted a 111-108 victory over the struggling Orlando Magic.
