SAN ANTONIO (NBA) - All is well again in the land of the San Antonio Spurs with Tony Parker of France and Manu Ginobili of Argentina back on the floor with superstar center Tim Duncan.
Parker was out a couple of weeks with a sprained ankle while Ginobili had ankle surgery and missed the start of the campaign.
Due in large part to the play of NBA All Star Duncan, the Spurs reeled off a series of wins and they prevailed over Memphis last Friday - the first time all three had been on the floor this season.
"All is well," Parker said.
"My ankle does not hurt me anymore. I no longer feel anything.
"It gives me great joy to be back but (coach) Gregg Popovich is still cautious.
"He decided to limit my minutes for the time being, 15 against Memphis and 25 against Houston. He does not want to take risks, the season is long."
Following the 109-98 win over Memphis in which Parker had 15 points and seven assists, the Spurs lost their game at Houston 103-84.
Parker started in the Houston game and again had 15 points and seven assists while also pulling down four rebounds.
In NBA action on Monday, Miami needed overtime but defeated Golden State 130-129. Defending champions Boston hammered Orlando 107-88 and Charlotte beat Minnesota 100-90.
