Rip Hamilton and Jarvis Hayes each had 18, Team USA guard Chauncey Billups 14 and Antonio McDyess 13 rebounds to go with his 13 points.
The Suns, one of the best teams in the Western Conference, fell behind 27-16 by the end of the first quarter and trailed 59-41 at half-time.
Phoenix, who recently traded Shawn Marion to Miami for center Shaquille O'Neal, got seven points and 11 rebounds from their new center.
Phoenix's Team USA power forward Amare Stoudemire scored a game-high 31 points in defeat.
