    NBA – McGrady fires Rockets to 20th straight triumph (+ video)

    ATLANTA (NBA) – Twenty and counting! That is the incredible winning streak the Houston Rockets are enjoying right now after a virtuoso second-half performance from Tracy McGrady on Wednesday at the Atlanta Hawks. McGrady poured in 21 of his 28 points in the after the break to propel the Rockets to an 83-75 win over Atlanta.

    That is the incredible winning streak the Houston Rockets are enjoying right now after a virtuoso second-half performance from Tracy McGrady on Wednesday at the Atlanta Hawks.

    McGrady poured in 21 of his 28 points in the after the break to propel the Rockets to an 83-75 win over Atlanta.

    The streak has equalled the 1970-71 Milwaukee Bucks’ run as the second-longest in NBA history.

    The 1971-72 Los Angeles Lakers won 33 consecutive.

    In other games, Orlando beat the Los Angeles Clippers 110-88, Seattle fell at Boston 111-82, New Jersey won at home over Cleveland 104-99, the New York Knicks edged the Miami Heat and the Philadelphia 76ers scraped an 83-82 triumph over the Detroit Pistons.

    The Utah Jazz won a barely against Milwaukee, 114-110, San Antonio crashed to a 100-75 defeat at San Antonio, Dallas hammered the Charlotte Bobcats, Denver mauled the Memphis Grizzlies 108-86 and Golden State pulled away from the Toronto Raptors 117-106.
