LOS ANGELES (NBA) - LeBron James has helped Miami overcame their disappointing start to the season.
Now he has rubbed salt into an open wound.
The Team USA gold-medal winner at the Beijing Olympics took a swipe at his former team Cleveland on Tuesday night using his @KingJames Twitter account with the Cavaliers receiving one of their worst-ever beatings at the hands of the Lakers.
James, castigated and mocked in Cleveland for his decision to leave as a free agent for Miami, was in Los Angeles with his new team for Wednesday night’s game against the Clippers and tweeted during the fourth quarter of the Lakers’ 112-57 romp: "Crazy. Karma is a b****. Gets you every time. It's not good to wish bad on anybody. God sees everything!"
James and the Heat have been the NBA's hottest team the past two months.
They are riding a 13-game winning streak away from home and are three wins shy of equaling the Lakers' 16-game winning run in the 1971-72 campaign.
Cleveland coped well early on this season without James but injuries to key men have contributed to their demise.
They now own an NBA-worst record 8-30.
Antawn Jamison, who joined Cleveland last year in the hope of winning a title with James, said after the demolition by LA: "It can't be any worse than this. If it is, someone will have to help me because I don't know how much of this I can take."
In the Lakers' win, Spain's Pau Gasol had 13 points, 14 rebounds, three assists and three steals as the team raised its record to 28-11.

The Knicks got a season-high 19 points from France international center Ronny Turiaf, who also equaled a season-high with 10 rebounds.
Portland, who are eighth in the Western Conference at 20-19, got 18 points from Spain's Rudy Fernandez.
New York, the sixth-place team in the Eastern Conference, are 22-15 and Portland 20-19.
Argentina's Manu Ginobili poured in 19 points and France point guard Tony Parker contributed 12 along with 13 assists as the San Antonio Spurs won 107-96 at Minnesota (9-30).
The Spurs, who improved to 32-6, overcame a 20-point, 20-rebound effort from Team USA's Kevin Love.
Indiana claimed a 111-103 triumph over Philadelphia. The Pacers are 15-20 and seventh in the Eastern Conference while the Sixers are 10th at 15-23.
Team USA's Danny Granger scored 27 points for Indiana.
Washington piled on the agony for Sacramento, winning 136-133 in the national's capital.
Shooting guard Nick Young buried seven of 10 shots from long range for Washington and finished with a game-high 43 points.
John Wall, the number one pick overall in last summer's NBA Draft, also contributed 22 points and nine assists for the Wizards.
The Kings are reeling at 8-27 overall.
Carmelo Anthony had 28 points and 10 rebounds for Denver in their 132-98 victory over Phoenix.
