    NEW YORK (NBA) - Nate Robinson celebrated his triumph in the Dunking Contest at the NBA All-Star Weekend with a 32-point performance to lead the New York Knicks past the San Antonio Spurs 112-107.

    The 5ft 9in point guard came off the bench and played 38 minutes for the Knicks, who improved to 22-31 while dropping the Spurs to 35-17.

    France's Tony Parker had 14 points and seven assists for the Spurs, the third-place team in the Western Conference.

    The Orlando Magic needed overtime but they defeated the visiting Charlotte Bobcats 107-102.

    Dwight Howard of Team USA put up one of his top performances in his best season so far with 45 points and 19 rebounds for Orlando (39-13). Charlotte fell to 21-32.

    In other news, New Orleans have traded big man Tyson Chandler to Oklahoma City for veterans Joe Smith and Chris Wilcox.

    The Hornets also gained cap room for next season.

    Chandler will earn about $12million in 2009-10.

    New Phoenix coach Al Gentry watched as his Phoenix Suns won 140-100 at the woeful Los Angeles Clippers.

    Gentry replaced Terry Porter, who was sacked over the All-Star break.

    Houston have learned they will be without superstar Tracy McGrady for the rest of the season due to injury.

    They won their game at New Jersey on Tuesday 114-88.
