    NBA - Big, bad Biedrins grabs 26 boards in Warriors' win (+ video)

    OAKLAND (NBA) - Latvia center Andris Biedrins had an eye-popping 26 rebounds to go with his 11 points on Sunday to lead the Golden State Warriors to a 106-104 home win over the New York Knicks. That’s right - 26 REBOUNDS! Biedrins, who played for his country at last year’s EuroBasket in Spain, was a demon on the boards as Golden State improved to a very impressive 27-18 on the season while dropping the Knicks to 14-29.

    Biedrins, who played for his country at last year’s EuroBasket in Spain, was a demon on the boards as Golden State improved to a very impressive 27-18 on the season while dropping the Knicks to 14-29.

    Hedo Turkoglu’s buzzer-beating three-pointer lifted the Orlando Magic to a 96-93 triumph over the Boston Celtics.

    The Turkey international, who also played at the EuroBasket, had a game-high 27 points.

    LeBron James won against Kobe Bryant in a battle of Team USA superstars when Cleveland beat the Los Angeles Lakers, 98-95. James had 41 points in the victory for the Cavs.

    Germany international Dirk Nowitzki was his usual excellent self when leading the Dallas Mavericks to victory on Sunday over the Denver Nuggets. Nowitzki had 16 of his 32 points in the final period as the Mavs won 90-85.

    In other games, Phoenix won 88-77 over Phoenix, Washington lost at Milwaukee 105-102 and Portland edged Atlanta 94-93.

    Minnesota upset the New Jersey Nets 98-95, Houston lost to Utah 97-89 and the Sacramento Kings won 103-101 over Seattle.
