BRAZZAVILLE (AfroBasket 2015) - Three weeks ago, Angola suffered an agonising 74-65 defeat against Nigeria in the Final of AfroBasket 2015, but on Friday they emerged victorious in the Gold Medal Game at the All-Africa Games 2015 in Brazzaville, Republic of Congo.

Reggie Moore, who featured in Rades, Tunisia, powered the Angolans to a 83-73 win over Egypt.

The 34-year-old forward came off the bench with crucial plays to deny Egypt for the third consecutive time in a matter of a month.

Back in August, Angola beat Egypt 83-63 in the AfroBasket 2015 Quarter-Finals. Then, last week, they opened the All-Africa Games with a 74-63 triumph over the North Africans.

In Friday's decisive game, Moore poured in a game-high 20 points with Roberto Fortes and Edson Ndoniema adding 15 points apiece.

Egypt guard Ramy Gunady led Ahmed Marei's side with a team-best 17 points. Ramy Abdallah, Omar Oraby and Youssef Shousha combined for 30 Egypt points, but it was the Angolans who celebrated last.

Angola closed out the tournament undefeated in six games, while Egypt return home with a 4-2 mark.

In the Bronze Medal Game, Nigeria, who lined-up mostly with a home-based roster, beat Mali 57-55.

The Nigerians fell short in the Semi-Finals after conceding a 61-60 defeat to Egypt.
