    TRIPOLI (FIBA Africa Championship / AfroBasket) - At just 21, this young Malian basketball prowess came to the fore in 2006 at the FIBA Africa Championship for U18 Men in Durban, South Africa where he led the Mali team to the final losing to Nigeria but his efforts did not go unnoticed as he was unanimously voted the most valuable player of the championship.

    Coulibaly followed his South Africa performance up with another great performance at the 2007 FIBA U19 World Championship in Serbia and was immediately drafted into the senior team that went for Mali failed campaign like other big nation at the 2007 edition of the FIBA Africa Championship in Angola.

    This young dud who will turn out to be one of the biggest star-player of his generation has played significant role in Mali campaign so far in Libya which will see them filling out against Tunisia at 16.30 hours in Tripoli today.
