CARACAS (FIBA Americas Championship) – Mexico international Gustavo Ayon is on the move again.

The big center has arrived in Venezuela from Spain to play for Marinos de Anzoátegui.

The Most Valuable Player of Halcones IV Xalapa’s title triumph in Mexico’s LNBP in March, Ayon left his homeland for Spain where he finished the campaign with Alta Gestion Fuenlabrada – the side he will play for next year in the ACB.

Now that Fuenlabrada’s campaign is over, Ayon has crossed the Atlantic to play for Marinos before eventually joining up with Mexico’s national team to begin preparations for the FIBA Americas Championship.

Ayon is expected to make his debut on Friday night when Marinos square off against Panteras de Miranda.
