MEXICO, D.F. (FIBA Americas Championship) – Mexico’s national team has been practicing since yesterday evening, as part of their training schedule towards FIBA Americas Championship 2007. This time, they are getting ready for the COCABA Championship in San Salvador, El Salvador, from July 18 to 22, 2007.
Their practice schedule consists of a daily double-practice session at the Mexican Olympic Committee facilities.
Some of the players trying out are Enrique Zúñiga, Víctor Ávila, Víctor Mariscal, Adam Parada, Omar Quintero, Arim Solares, Héctor Hernández, Jovan Harris, Ramsés Benítez, Santiago Aguirre y Chris Hernández.
They are still waiting for the arrival of Horacio Llamas, Romel Beck, Anthony Pedroza, Noe Alonzo y Gustavo Ayón.
Mexico will be one of the 10 teams active at the FIBA Americas Championship 2007 in Las Vegas.
