MEX - National Team began its training
CIUDAD JUÁREZ (FIBA Americas Championship) – There has been great response to the convocatory made by the Mexican Basketball Federation to all the players interested on integrating the national team which will be active in the FIBA Americas Championshiop 2007; which will be held from August 22 to September 2, in Las Vegas.
CIUDAD JUÁREZ (FIBA Americas Championship) – There has been great response to the convocatory made by the Mexican Basketball Federation to all the players interested on integrating the national team which will be active in the FIBA Americas Championshiop 2007; which will be held from August 22 to September 2, in Las Vegas.
The Mexican pre-selection currently trains in the Monterrey’s Technological Gym, in two daily sessions.
Some of the players that turned up are: Víctor Ávila, Adama Parada, Rommel Beck, Anthony Pedroza, Enrique Zuñiga , Jorge Rochin, Héctor Hernández, Omar López, Óliver Caballero, Jesús López, Miguel Ayala, Ramsés Benítez, Luis González, Gustavo Ayon, Hugo Carrillo, Francisco Ibarra, Víctor Mariscal y George Figueroa.
These players will be active until Saturday, when the coach, Noland Richardson, expects the arrival of Horacio Llamas and Omar Quintero.
The Mexican National Team will have some exhibitions games on June, with the intention of studying the players on action. After those games, the will not get together until July 8th.
