Gustavo Oroná poured in 16 points as Obras scraped a 72-71 overtime win over Brazilian outfit Joinville.
The fans were treated to a thrilling first game because at the end of regulation, the contest was tied at 65-65.
Once in the extra period, Joinville got their noses in front at 71-70.
Cristian Cortes came to the rescue for Obras by hitting a mid-range jump shot for the win.
Maurice Spillers contributed 11 points and Brandon Kurtz 10 Obras Sanitarias.
Manteguinha poured in a game-high 19 points in defeat.
