    The Turkish Prime Minister, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, says Turkey’s next match against Greece is of crucial importance. The Prime Minister visited the team’s locker room in Ankara after their latest game, in which Turkey beat Russia 65-56. Prime Minister Erdogan said : “I am happy about the victory over Russia but the match against Greece is more important. It is important to finish first place in the group. We have a big opportunity and I wanted to congratulate the national team and share their enthusiasm and that of the spectators.” On Saturday, the President of Turkey was handed a golden ball by FIBA President Bob Elphinston.
