MIES - Fans showed up in big numbers at venues on all five continents to see their national teams play during the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2019 Qualifiers and many more watched on television or the internet.

A total of 72 national teams worldwide combined to play 76 games during the November 2017 window of the first-ever FIBA Basketball World Cup Qualifiers, arguably sport's biggest uniquely centrally managed worldwide competition.

More than 312 million fans were reached on digital platforms in the first of six qualifying windows during which countries across the globe battle to book their place for the first-ever 32-team FIBA Basketball World Cup that will take place in China from August 31-September 15, 2019.

With national federations, players, media and broadcasters all getting involved thanks to the digital campaign #ThisIsMyHouse, the Qualifiers served to capture the imagination.
