Malian referee to officiate women's basketball world championship
Malian international referee Moussa Toure has been named by the International Basketball Federation (FIBA) to officiate in the 15th edition of the women's basketball world championship slated 12-23 September in Sao Paulo, Brazil.

Malian international referee Moussa Toure has been named by the International Basketball Federation (FIBA) to officiate in the 15th edition of the women's basketball world championship slated 12-23 September in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
Toure, the current chair of the Malian Basketball Federation (FMBB) referees committee, will be the first Malian to take part in that world competition, according to the FMBB on Bamako, Thursday.
The tournament will feature 16 teams, including Brazil, Argentina, South Korea, Spain, Australia, Canada, Lithuania, Senegal, Nigeria, United States, Russia, China, Cuba, Czech Republic, France and Chinese Taipei.
