    LTU - Tickets on sale for FIBA U19 Women games in Klaipeda; free entrance in Panevezys

    KLAIPEDA/PANEVEZYS (FIBA U19 World Championship for Women) - The 2013 FIBA U19 World Championship for Women tips off in Klaipeda and Panevezys on Thursday 18 July with the two Lithuanian cities welcoming the most talented young women basketball players across the globe.

    Panevezys will welcome the national teams of USA, China, Mali, France, the Netherlands, Canada, Senegal and the home nation Lithuania, while Brazil, Korea, Russia, Serbia, Argentina, Australia, Japan and Spain will play in Klaipeda.

    Tickets are on sale on the Bilietai website for games played in Klaipeda (Preliminary Round, Eighth-Final Round, Classification Round 9-12 and Final Round).

    Entrance to games played in Panevezys (Preliminary Round and Eighth-Final Round) is free, as a gift to the city’s residents by the municipality.

    "The Lithuanian national team will play the first round in our city, and the young players need as big of a support, as possible. I want to invite the people of Panevezys to come to the games and support the girls as they strive for victories," said Vitalijus Satkevicius, the Mayor of Panevezys.

    The prices for tickets in Klaipeda are as follows:
    One-day ticket (access to all games on one game day in Klaipeda) - 2.5 Euro (9 Lt)
    All-tournament pass (access to all games played in Klaipeda) - 8.3 Euro (29 Lt)
    Ticket prices include taxes and other fees.
