VIENNA (Austria) - London (USA) steamrolled past stiff competition to finish pool play unbeaten on Day 2 of the FIBA 3x3 World Tour Vienna 2025 on June 14.
TEAMS
LONDON (USA)
Pitted against two contending teams in pool play, London had their work cut out for them, but the side from America came out swinging, making easy work of their opposition to go 2-0 on the day.
They started off against the Serbian juggernauts Ub who were coming off a stop win in Marseille. However, London fired early through a collective scoring effort and grabbed an insurmountable lead to begin the game. They held on and came away with a 21 - 14 result to start with a statement win.
They took on Hangzhou next who needed the win to keep themselves in the race. London had other ideas though as they stepped on the gas and rode their way to another dominant win. Jerome Desrosiers and Justin Pierce combined for 14 points as they grabbed the 21 - 11 victory to finish pool play with all the momentum in their favor.
Raudondvaris, Amsterdam and Miami were the other sides to go perfect in pool play.
