Team Characteristics
Multi-faceted, skilled basketball team. On offense that have excellent overall ball skills and pinpoint passing. Push the ball when available but will most likely run quality half court offense. Have a good sense for where everyone is on the floor. Penetration is added as benefit of spacing out the floor. Balance of inside and outside makes rotations and slides difficult for the defense.
 

Offensive Tendencies
High low 3 out/2 in set is effective for multiple players. Can score inside and outside with efficiency. Good shooting and overall ball skills benefit their offensive game. The high on ball screen and roll is particularly productive because wings are spread to the sidelines. Lots of on ball screening from the high post area, creating basket dive cuts and open perimeter shots. 

Transition
Point guard dominated break aided by quick outlet pass. Ball advanced quickly up floor on dribble or pass. Posts run the floor for quick score opportunties. Great passing creates easy drives and baskets. Can make open perimeter shots in transition also. 


Set Plays

1. Wing entry, cut through, back screen for post cutting to basket.

2. High post entry, hand off to open side, double screen right side.
 

3. High post entry, pass back, double screen, high low pass.

4. High on ball screen and step back for jump shot.

Out of Bounds
Basic OB action looking for quick shot or post opportunity. Execute primary and secondary screening action to move the defense for post feed. May inbound the ball and quickly on ball screen and roll. 

Zone Offense
3 out 2 in high low attack. Post flash and cut into open areas from high to low post and short corner. Perimeter players cut through zone and fill open spots on the floor. Want to get it inside. 


Defense Tendencies
Excel at making the offense uncomfortable and forcing turnovers. Contest all shots at the rim which starts their fastbreak.  Good job of helping on the post before and after the dribble by opponent's post player. Rebound well defensively and have shot blockers at the rim.
