LIB - Riyadi win again with victory over Sagesse in Lebanon
BEIRUT (Division A) - Defending champions Riyadi maintained their lead at the top of Division A after securing a 103-91 victory over Sagesse. Alvin Smis scored an impressive 38 points for Sagesse but it was not enough to prevent Riyadi securing their seventh successive victory. Riyadi started brightest and led by the in-form Mazen Mnaymneh, who scored 26 points in the game, they raced into a 23-point lead at the end of the first quarter.

Fouad Abu Chakra’s side then continued to extend their advantage, before a late fightback by Sagesse in the final quarter reduced the deficit to 12 points.
Rami Akiki also weighed in with 21 points for the winners, while Mohamad Fahs poured in with 19 for Sagesse.
Blue Stars kept the pressure on the league leaders by securing a comfortable 87-69 win over Antranik, despite Josh Cooper Wood’s 28 points.
Fadi Al Khatib and Damian Cantrell both weighed in with 22 points for the Blue Stars, who have now won six successive matches.
But United’s title hopes suffered a setback as they slipped to their fourth defeat of the season after losing 117-115 to Anibal in extra-time, while Champville beat Antonins 105-74.
