KSA - Showtime in UFSA-DBL Dream Games today
DAMMAM (UFSA-DBL) – Today is going to be a triple delight for United Filipino Sports Association – Dammam Basketball League (UFSA-DBL) fans. That’s because former MBA-Pampanga Dragons Alvin Serrano of Jubail, Bong Arquero an ex-MBA Cagayan De Ora of Jeddah, UAAP Rotela stalwart Roel Asay from Riyadh and PBL Batangas Blades Allan De Castro of Dammam will bring their own act and prowess in the much awaited 2nd edition of Dream Games 2008, at the Al Nahda Sports Club here.

The battle of the best and the mightiest basketball cagers will start after the sidelight featuring A Mojil Group against Saudi Ready Mix, while Bicol Region will test the mettle of Pangasinan All Star for another explosive triple-header in the on-going 4th UFSA-DBL Fiesta Conference.
The battle of the Regional Dream Games will not be possible if not with the support given by Fahd Alireza Engineering Consultants and Universal Motors Agencies, supported by Trading Est. of Al Bahar distributor of W.L. Super Bawang, Skyfreight Forwarders, Smart GMA Pinoy Plus, and Mc Donald’s Resturant.
The visiting Hanco Maintenance-Jeddah All Star was composed of Bong Arquero (MBA-Cagayan De Oro), Erwin Arquero (MLQU), Benedict Querubin (New Era College), Michael Sison (Angeles University Foundation), Joel Valero (JRU University), Eric Sagala (PHC Rizal), Earlbert Manalac (Corporate Pro Basketball), Dindo Garces (Batangas University), Val Atienza (PYBL), Jerome Castro (University of North Eastern), Gener Nuguit (San Pablo Univeristy), Jacky Coronado (PYBL), Ryan Aguam (MLQU), and Pablo Viscayo (TIP Manila).
Saudi Arabian Kents Jubail All Star is the team to watch as they composed of new recruit and fresh talents headed by Kim Callos (Palarong Pambansa), Alvin Serrano (MBA Pampanga Dragons), Louie Materiano (Palarong Pambansa), Wene Datungputi (San Agustin College), Ike Ligutom (Palarong Pambansa), Boyet Katigbak (Palarong Pambansa), Aries Aldiplo (Palarong Pambansa), Arnold Haloc (FIATI University), Mike Mustre (PBA-San Miguel), Adel Gutierrez (Palarong Pambansa), Allam Butito (Palarong Pambansa) and George Valconcha (Palarong Pambansa). Saud Arabian Kents was managed by Anthony Mc Carthy and Hermie Conti with Head Coach Bert Radan.

The Fahd Alireza Dream Games Regional Showdown will start at 1:30 PM after the Slum Dunk competition sponsored by Gas Arabia.
“Whoever is the fittest shall prevail” said UFSA-DBL Commissioner Jojo Dizon, “All teams want to prove something so it’s going to be worth watching.”
