DAMMAM (EPBL) – Al Falak Systems Solutions & Consulting Company, the leading IT and communications solution provider, Al-Enaizi Enterprises, a Saudi company that markets drilling fluid solutions, and Hoshan Office Automation announced their sponsorship of the rejuvenated Eastern Province Basketball League (EPBL), which will commence on June 19 for five months at the Al-Ettifaq Club gymnasium here.

An active supporter of basketball, Basel Humaidah, General Manager of Al-Falak, has been a vocal proponent of the role of sports as a key factor in improving company employees’ morale by easing a bit of the tension created at work as well as reducing their anxiety for being away from their families.

Al Falak has been in the forefront of its commitment to excellence and dedication to leading a healthy lifestyle. They have been generous to EPBL for the past five years for sponsoring several conferences already.

Humaidah is a basketball player in his younger days. He hung up his uniform for a while after he sustained a leg injury. Since then he had missed playing his favorite sport - Basketball. Now recovered from that injury, he would don the Al Falak jersey for this conference.

“I used to play basketball. I love this sport and I believe in EPBL management.” Humaidah said during the signing of sponsorship contract held in his office. He even suggested to us that he may don a uniform and play with his team if the situation arises.

Al-Falak has been in the top 100 Companies in Saudi Arabia for the past four years. With over 27 years of experience and operations throughout the Middle East, the company is focused on delivering complete End-To-End solutions.

Al-Enaizi Enterprises share the same vision in supporting sports activities as worthwhile entertainment. Imad Al Enaizi, owner of Al Enaizi Enterprises, believes that it is a corporate social commitment to reach out to the Kingdom's employees and support organizations that provide recreation, sportsmanship, and camaraderie among all those living and working in this region.

“We are proud to be partnering the 22nd season of EPBL. The sponsorship of such high-profile championship is part of Al-Enaizi's ongoing contribution to major sporting events held in the region.” Al-Enaizi said during the technical meeting held last Friday at the Al-Ettifaq Club.

“We wish to thank the EPBL for hosting this landmark event and wish them continued success in the years to come.” He added.

The operations of Al-Enaizi Enterprises are mainly carried out by Oilfield and Industrial services where the Manifa project is one of their major ventures for supplying drilling fluid solutions for long reach horizontal wells.

The tournament is also supported by Hoshan Office Automation under the direction of Mr. Abdullah Abdulwahid and Amro Ahmed. Hoshan has been a proud supported of EPBL for almost 10 years.

Another sponsor is Cecile’s Catering, who provide delicious meals and snacks throughout the entire conference.

The tournament draws an overwhelming response from various basketball teams, ball clubs and companies represented by 30 teams in the fold.

The participating teams are led by back-to-back champions Al Majdouie Group and Dammam Warriors, 2008 2nd Conference champions Saudi Ready Mix and Metal Services, multi-titlist Al Falak System Solution and Al Tuwairqi Group.
