Poland, Italy, Serbia and more target FIBA 3x3 Europe Cup Crelan 2026 qualification

    KOSICE (Slovakia) – The road to the FIBA 3x3 Europe Cup Crelan 2026 continues in Kosice, Slovakia on June 13-14, where a deep field of European contenders will compete for qualification places in Antwerp.

    With two tickets available per gender, Kosice features one of the most competitive qualifier lineups, bringing together established 3x3 basketball nations and ambitious challengers.

    The men's tournament includes hosts Slovakia alongside Slovenia, Switzerland, Poland, Italy, Hungary, Turkey, Croatia, Portugal, Georgia and Finland.

    Several teams arrive with extensive experience on the international 3x3 basketball circuit. Poland and Switzerland have regularly featured at major events, while Croatia, Portugal and Italy possess the talent to make deep runs. Host nation Slovakia will be eager to capitalize on home support and secure a return to Europe's biggest stage.

    The women's field is equally competitive, featuring Slovakia, Italy, Hungary, Turkey, Portugal, Slovenia, Serbia, Croatia, Georgia and Finland.

    Serbia and Slovenia bring strong basketball traditions, while Italy and Turkey continue to establish themselves among Europe's rising 3x3 basketball powers. With only two qualification spots available, every pool game could prove decisive.

    The men's competition will be divided into four pools, with top two teams from each pool advancing directly to the Quarter-Finals before the knockout phase determines the two qualified teams to Antwerp.

    The women's draw will feature two pools, with top two teams from each pool winners advancing directly to the knockout phase, which determines the two qualified teams to FIBA 3x3 Europe Cup Crelan 2026.
