    BANGKOK (FIBA U19 World Championship for Women) - Korea led for most duration of their game and defeated Mali 68-52 to take the 13th spot on Tuesday.

    Mali, thus, finished 14th.

    Korea outshot their African rivals 41%-31% on the field and more significantly 40%-13% in three-point attempts - a key to their success.

    Kim Gayoung was 14/28 in field attempts, including converting four of her nine three-point shots, and finished with a game-high 24 points.

    Cha Hongjin, who had a 3/5 record in three-pointers, and Lee Jeonghyun scored 13 points apiece.

    Ouleymatou Coulibaly was the highest scorers for the Malinians with 17 points.
