Ulinzi beat Kenyatta Universitty "Pirates" 89-62 in an all too easy fixture while Lions had another cakewalk beating Universioty of Nairobi "Terrorists" 65-54.
The soldiers led 45-28 at the breather and had international forward Ancette Wafula and Tom Opar to thank as the duo posted 16 and 15 points respectively.
Griffin Ligare and Martin Obure combined for KU's 27 points.
KU hanged close 54-62 in the third quarter but blown by Ulinzi's armunations in the last half as coach Gitau Waringo remained rooted to his bench watching
the proceedings.
Lions trailed 12-14 in the first quarter, but managed to take the sexcond 20-14 for a 32-28 half time margin.In the third, the regional kings stayed up
