The win saw the bankers surge ahead of the pack with 21 points fron 11 matches, Strathmore who are third from bottom have ammased 12 points from 10 games.
Coop with Cliff Ochieng, Richie Osano, Bobby Okwako, Horace Nyadera and Lewis Muya in control were supreme in the first two quarters and took a 44-19 lead at the breather.
At the end of the third quarter, Co-op still topped 69-35 as Blades struggled to close the ever widening gap. Strathmore came into the game in the last quarter.
They outplayed Co-op with some relentless running from Paul Nyakinda and Ken Maru and took a 18-7 edge but at the final buzzer it proved too little too late.
Nine games nine losses. That is the situation Kenyatta University "Pirates" are in following a 69-74 loss to the visiting Kisumu Lakeside. The victors led 42-30 at the break.

United States International University (USIU) Tigers beat Kisumu Lakeside like a drum winning 82-53 in a suprisiungly one sided contest.
Papillon Odhiambo scored 14 points and Aaron Chan 12. For Kisumu who also lost the home tie to USIU, Dick Masudi had 12.
Brend Odula nailed 22 points that included six three pointers as USIU Flames thumped Kisumu Cruisers 81-23. Angela Okoth scorted 20 points and Samba Mjomba added 14 for USIU who connected for 10 three pointers.
Eagle Wings made it two wins in two matches with an easy 74-22 win over University of Nairobi "Dynamites" Joyce Makungu scored 16 points, Eunice Ouma 15 and Rebecca Sarange 12.
Kisumu Cruisers won 62-42 against Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (Jkuat). Salome Oketch nailed 23 points while Mercy Etyang had 19. For winless Jkuat, Monica Odhiambo posted 16 and Wanjiru Giutnga 11.
Eagle Wings earlier had hit Cathlic Dream Team (CDT) 73-49. Rebecca Sarange bagged 17 points and Pamella Asige shot 16. The losers, who trailed 23-36 at the break, had 10 points from Florence Mbithe.
