Former Israel national team coach Muli Katzurin has signed a two-year deal to coach the Czech champion, CEZ Nymburk.
Katzurin has taken a break from coaching since failing to lead the national team to Eurobasket 2005, but remained close to the game as a commentator on Channel 1 broadcasts.
The veteran coach has a good reputation overseas. He had two spells with Polish side Slask Wroclaw, including a fine run in the Euroleague during the 2003/04 campaign.
Nymburk, which clinched its third consecutive Czech crown earlier this week, played in the FIBA EuroCup this season.
