TRENTINO (Italy) - Stefan Joksimovic had double reason to celebrate at the FIBA U18 EuroBasket 2026 as the point guard took home the MVP trophy after guiding Slovenia to their first title in the competition.
Joksimovic tallied 24 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists in Slovenia's 88-71 win over Italy in the Final. The playmaker showed why he has already made six appearances for the country's senior national team at the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2027 European Qualifiers.
He also headlined the All-Star Five, which included Cheickh Niang of runners-up Italy, Hugo Yimga from third-place finishers France, Spain's Diego Niebla and Leonard Kroger of Germany.
